At Ford headquarters in Dearborn, MI, a new type of carpeting was put through a simulated five-years (or more) of wear to prove its strength. What's different about this carpet than what you'll find in previous-gen Ford models? It's made out of plastic bottles.

It was just last year that Ford introduced its MyKey technology to parents concerned over their teenage driver's safety.
