Ford Explorer Wins North American Truck of the Year Award

To be eligible to win the North American Truck of the Year Award, a vehicle must be "all-new" or "substantially changed". At this year's Detroit Auto Show, the veteran Ford Explorer earned the title, beating out both the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango. An Award such as this is even more prestigious because it's presented by a jury of 49 veteran automotive journalists from Canada and the United States.
